Synopsis: In reality, Nicholas Adams’ book Horrorscope served as the inspiration for Tarot. But due to the poorly written screenplay by co-writers and directors Spenser Cohen and Anna Halberg, you’ll probably find that hard to believe. The movie moves quickly, giving a quick introduction to the pals before you know it. They’ve all gathered for a tarot card reading in the basement. Each of them will pass away in a manner indicated by the card readings. What follows is a dull supernatural horror thriller with very little tension or even scary moments. The plot only pauses down to give some exposition about the supernatural creature haunting the cards, which quickly leads to repetition as it basically goes through the motions.
