Synopsis: The nun in charge of Paddington’s Aunt Lucy’s present residence, the Home for Retired Bears, writes him a letter. Paddington is urged to visit by the Reverend Mother. She informs him that his aunt is ill. Jonathan, Judy, Mrs. Bird, and Mr. and Mrs. Brown consent to accompany Paddington to Peru. They discover Aunt Lucy is gone when they get there.
