Synopsis: Amy Schumer has regained her comic rage in “Kinda Pregnant,” and it suits her well. Her character, Lainy Newton, a desperate high school English teacher. It sports a prosthetic baby bump for a large portion of the film. But occasionally, when the prosthesis isn’t present, she encounters someone she’s tricked into believing she’s pregnant. She will substitute a roast chicken or even a balloon for a child’s birthday celebration. This gives the impression that the film is quite broad, and “Kinda Pregnant” is a mediocre comedy. However, there is a tinge of emotional realism. Finding a fabricated excuse for Lainy to pretend to be pregnant would be the main focus of this traditional high-concept comedy. One of the main attractions of Lookmovie is that it offers access to a wide range of content.
