Synopsis: Chris Wang, a Taiwanese American child living in California between middle and high school, went by the nickname “Důdi” as a child. His father is abroad in Taiwan on business, therefore he’s alone in his family. His estranged mother found herself in an unappreciated position as a stay-at-home mother and caregiver to her critical mother-in-law. Vivian is just a few weeks away from starting her first year of college at UCSD. Although they are four years apart, he understands things very differently. Chris is a really relatable lost person who has crushes, embarrassments and friendships. Surprisingly, his buddies in eighth grade use slang and crude YouTube videos to communicate.
